Why Launch
Launch is a customized mental health program for First Responders with a built-in system for monitoring a First Responder’s well-being and responding to early warning signs.
It’s help before you need it!
Launch is endorsed by Wounded Warriors Canada as a proactive approach to First Responder wellness. The program helps First Responders to build skills to live well, all while doing important public safety work.
What to Expect
- Virtual videos relevant to First Responders
- Baseline evaluation of your mental health
- Training exercises to apply what you’re learning
- Regular screenings of well-being
- Priority access to therapy, if needed
- Virtual office hours
Once the core Launch program is completed, First Responders are able to continue to have access to the course content, monitoring, and priority access through Launch Extension!
How to Launch
Launch runs for 3 months. During this 3-month period, First Responders learn about topics that matter to their lives at home and at work. Launch participants also apply what they learn and take part in regular screenings to monitor their mental health progress. We welcome all First Responders, even those who are already in individual therapy.
Participation in Launch is confidential. Your participation, comments, and wellness information will remain confidential.
