I regularly work with first responders, athletes, military veterans, and individuals who have experienced a brain injury. In support of this work, I complete ongoing training on trauma, sport and performance psychology, medication, supervision of mental health professionals, and improving therapy outcomes.
My practice is centered on collaborating with clients to identify and reach their goals. I have a great deal of experience working with clients dealing with negative self-talk, performing under pressure, mood and anxiety issues, posttraumatic stress, and recovery from injury.
When I am not at the office, I enjoy playing golf, basketball, and boardgames. I also enjoy visiting friends and family in Canada and the US.
I earned a doctorate in Counselling Psychology from Indiana University and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
