I am a registered psychotherapist with the College of Psychotherapists in Ontario (CRPO). I am also a long standing member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP) as well as a member of Canadian Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (CACBT). Over the years, I have worked extensively in a teaching hospital and private settings. I practice in psychotherapy, assessment and neurorehabilitation. I have a formal training in delivery of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and problem focused therapy for children, adolescents and adults suffering from multiple emotional, physical and medical issues.
I have worked a number of years at Hamilton Health Sciences in the process of assessment and treatment of patients of all ages, with complex neurobehavioral, emotional, psychiatric, developmental difficulties, relating to different medical conditions, head injury, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, posttraumatic, learning and adjustment issues.
In the private practice settings, I have years of experience in working with individuals, who survived a car accident, work injury and first responders and military veterans. I also facilitate the support group for family members and caregivers of survivors of a variety of brain injury, which is offered through the collaboration of the Traverse Independence and St.Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph.
The services I provide at Jett Psychological Services are supervised by Dr. Jett.
